Training can affect time, money, certification and career progression. A short provider review before enrolment can prevent avoidable surprises later.
Questions to ask
- Who recognizes or approves the programme?
- What exactly does the course certificate represent?
- What are the entry requirements?
- How is learning or competence assessed?
- Who are the instructors and what relevant experience do they have?
- What learner support is available?
- What happens if scheduling or assessment requirements change?
Check the claim, not just the badge
Ask for the name of the relevant authority, the scope of approval and the applicable programme details. If a qualification matters for employment or regulatory purposes, verify the requirement with the relevant employer or competent authority as well.
